The H2O Herford recently received the award for premium quality of the German Sauna Association.
An independent auditor of the responsible quality committee of the German Sauna Association anonymously visited the sauna facility. He checked all specified quality criteria and the management. Only after this successful mystery check did the quality committee decide to award the premium certificate.
In concrete terms, the Premium quality label means that the sauna facilities must be so diverse that they invite you to stay for a long time. Several sauna and warm air rooms as well as at least one sauna in the outdoor area must be available. Various cooling facilities and a bathing pool must be available as well. Numerous spa services, such as different types of massage and/or beauty care or exercise courses are also part of the premium offer.
The infusions must be presented in a health-oriented manner and with good wave technique. A restaurant with a varied menu should provide physical well-being. Hygiene is also an important quality criterion. For example, the water quality of the baths and plunge pools must be checked regularly. All sauna rooms and sanitary facilities must be cleaned and disinfected regularly. All award-winning saunas must also have trained specialist staff.
